The Older Women’s Network NSW (OWN) is now a peak women’s organisation, recognised and consulted at all government levels on such issues as violence and abuse, homelessness, transport, health and housing, as well as home, community and residential care, the environment and education.



In 1987 a group of older women, tired of being invisible and ignored, established a network focused solely on the concerns of women nearing or past the age of retirement. It makes good sense that older women, the wellspring of our society, should contribute their wisdom and life experience to national decision-making.. Read more
